6. Splice the ends of the belt by installing the provided splice pin. Figure 15 illustrates the splice pin
installation. The splice pin comes in a pre-cut length that's longer than the width of the belt.
Ensure that the excess length of the pin on either side is bent in towards the upstream of the
conveyor to avoid any catch points on the lacing.
