2) When there is only one sheet of document left, the document paper bends on the concave portion of the
Separation Reverse Guide Assembly [1]. Then the Last Document Detection Sensor Lever [2] lowers to
no-paper detection position from paper presence detection position.
Service work
1) Open the paper pick-up cover of the DADF to remove the Rear Cover.
2) Check for the rear plate deformation from the right side [A] and back side [B] of the machine. If the plate is
deformed, modify the deformation as shown in the photo below. If the plate is not deformed, attach the Rear
Cover and go to Step 5).
