Service work
Clean the dustproof glass of the laser scanner glass following the steps below.
1) In Service Mode > Copier > Function > MISC-P > SHT-OPEN, press OK and open the shutter of the laser
scanner unit.
2) Turn OFF the power.
3) Open the front cover and the drum unit retaining cover [1].
4) Open the handle [2] and pull out the drum unit [3] with both hands, and pull it out horizontally.
[Caution] Do not touch the surface of the photosensitive drum.
5) Block light with paper etc. to the removed Drum Unit.
