Sharing with Wi-Fi Display
Since release 11.0 it is possible to use Wi-Fi Display, also known as Miracast, as a presentation
source f or your CU360 app or f or other apps that can share the device screen.
Miracast is a standard f or wireless connections f rom devices (such as laptops, tablets, or
smartphones) to "Wi-Fi Displays" (such as TVs, monitors, or projectors), introduced in 2012 by
the Wi-Fi Alliance.
Miracast employs the peer-to-peer Wi-Fi Direct standard and allows sending up to 1080p@30 HD
video (H.264 codec) and 5.1 surround sound (AAC/AC3, PCM).
CU360 can be used as a Wi-Fi Display, connecting a compatible media source to it (f or instance
TVs, projectors, and streaming media players that also support Miracast).

CU360 as Wi-Fi Display
CU360 can be used as a Wi-Fi Display, with the f ollowing capabilities

On CU, you need to launch the pre-installed Wi-Fi Display App (manually or f rom the presentation
button when using the CU360 App).

When in f oreground, the Wi-Fi App will warn you to check if the Wi-Fi settings are active and will
display the name that your CU360 will use to present itself as a Wi-Fi Display to other compatible
devices (i.e. PC and Android phones/tablets supporting Miracast). In release 11.1 the title bar of
the app has been removed.

The Wi-Fi Settings must be active, even if the device is not connected to any Wi-Fi network.

Check that Wi-Fi is enabled in your CU360 Device
The name assigned inside to your CU360 App (visible on the top bar inf o) is automatically applied
as the name presented by your device f or Wi-Fi Display.
