Oil
Remember always to check the oil level before starting the engine.
NOTICE: The engine is supplied without oil in the crankcase. Fill with 10W30 oil before
starting the engine. Ensure that dirt does not get into the engine when checking and
when topping up with oil or fuel.
Use good quality oil, cf. the technical specifications.
Never use additives.
Checking and topping up the oil
Check the oil level before starting.

Check the oil level daily and after every eight hours of operation.
•

Keep the oil level at the FULL level.
Do not overfill.

Procedure
Ensure that the engine is in a horizontal position. Dry the area around the oil filling
•
cap/dipstick.
Set the dipstick into the opening and then remove again and read the oil level. Fill
•
slowly to the FILL level. Check the level again.
•
Ensure that the dipstick/cap is securely on again.
Fuel
Use clean, fresh and ordinary leadfree petrol, cf. the technical specifications.
Filling with fuel
Fill with fuel outdoors or on a well-ventilated site, at a safe distance from sparks, open
•
flames, control lamps, sources of heat and ignition sources.

If fuel is spilled, wait until it has evaporated before starting the engine.
