Functions:
A. Shut-off by row
B. Section shutdown fertiliser (only if FH is selected)
C. Number of sections = Maximum number of sections
that are sent to the Task Controller screen. If this is
exceeded, then several row units will share one
section.
Example: a 32-row machine with a maximum
number of 16 sections installed, results in only 16
sections being reported on the screen.
This is where information is entered regarding the
geometric location of the drill in relation to the tractor.
D. Offset X = Compensation for any canting. If the
machine is pulling in one direction or if it is offset to
one side. Expressed in mm.
E. Offset Y = Distance between the coupling point and
ground contact, for example, gauge wheels.
Expressed in mm.
F. Connector = Type of coupling device. Three point
linkage or hitch.
Selecting any of the following will take you to the
product-specific Task Control settings for:
G. Seed
H. Micro-granulate
I. Fertiliser

Settings for sowing:
Figure 11.7
For sowing, there are more detailed settings on the
screen which refer to the following:
A. Variable feed rate according to the control file ON/
OFF.
B. Section Y = distance between the point of ground
contact and the point of application This value
together with the value in the field Offset Y is the
same as the distance from the coupling device to the
seed coulter. Expressed in mm.

C. SC Turn On Time = Time compensation for seed
transportation (switch on)
Example: if it takes 4 seconds for seeds to reach the
seed coulter after the motor has begun to rotate, then
the setting in this field should be 4 seconds. This
means that the motor begins rotating 4 seconds
before the expected switch on. Expressed in ms.
D. SC Turn Off Time = Time compensation for seed
transportation (switch off)
Example: if it takes 4 seconds for seeds to reach the
seed coulter after the motor has stopped rotating,
then the setting in this field should be 4 seconds. This
means that the motor stops rotating 4 seconds before
the expected shut off. Expressed in ms.
Settings for micro-granulate:

For micro-granulate, there are more detailed settings on
the screen that relate to:
E. Variable feed rate according to the control file ON/
OFF.
