Virtual Terminal (ISOBUS)
F. Variable feed rate according to the control file ON/
OFF.
G. Section Y = distance between the point of ground
contact and the point of application This value
together with the value in the field Offset Y is the
same as the distance from the coupling device to the
seed coulter. Expressed in mm.
H. SC Turn On Time = Time compensation for seed
transportation (switch on)
Example: if it takes 4 seconds for seeds to reach the
seed coulter after the motor has begun to rotate, then
the setting in this field should be 4 seconds. This
means that the motor begins rotating 4 seconds
before the expected switch on. Expressed in ms.
I. SC Turn Off Time = Time compensation for seed
transportation (switch off)
Example: if it takes 4 seconds for seeds to reach the
seed coulter after the motor has stopped rotating,
then the setting in this field should be 4 seconds. This
means that the motor stops rotating 4 seconds before
the expected shut off. Expressed in ms.
Section Y (G), SC Turn On Time (H) as well as
SC Turn Off Time (I) are only possible if FH has
been selected.

Alarm levels

Figure 11.10
Alarm settings
Set the level at which alarms are to be activated. Change
by pressing the field to be changed and set a new alarm
level in the pop-up window.
A. Amount of seed fed out. Activates an alarm if the
amount fed out (no. seeds/ha) is less than the set
alarm level (B) for one of the row units. The alarm
level is indicated as a percentage of the set feed rate
in the calibration menu.
B. Alarm delay (secs) for seed fed out.
28
C. Planting accuracy alarm level. Generates an alarm if
the planting accuracy for one of the row units is less
than the set alarm level.
D. Alarm delay (sec) for planting accuracy.
E. Alarm level for the number of skips within each row.
Default setting: 20%
F. Alarm level for the number of doubles within each
row. Default setting: 20%
G. Alarm delay (sec) for the number of skips and
doubles.
H. Alarm level for percentage deviation in the spacing
between seeds on average for all row units.
I. "Warning" alarm level for drilling quality. Drilling
quality is the deviation indicated as a percentage for
skips and doubles. Shown as a bar chart on the
statistics page (yellow marking if the accuracy is less
than the set alarm level).
J. "Critical" alarm level for drilling quality. Drilling
quality is the deviation indicated as a percentage for
skips and doubles. Shown as a bar chart on the
statistics page (red marking if the accuracy is less
than the set alarm level).
K. Fan rotation speed alarm level, lower alarm level.
Default setting: 2000 rpm.
L. Fan rotation speed alarm level, upper alarm level.
Default setting: 5000 rpm
M. Alarm delay (secs) for seeds per second.
When selecting FH (FrontHopper) the following alarm
settings may also be entered:
N. FH fan rotation speed alarm level, lower alarm level.
Default setting: 1500 rpm
O. FH fan rotation speed alarm level, upper alarm level.
Default setting: 4000 rpm.
Alarm delay indicates the time between an error
signal from the sensor and the visual/audible alarm
on the home screen. The alarm indication should be
slightly delayed to avoid alarms at low driving
speeds.
Nevertheless, the delay should be as short as possible
to allow sudden, brief interruptions to be detected as
well. Default setting: 5 seconds.
