DANGER
Injury or death due to electric shock.
• Before working on the product: switch off the power supply and lock it to prevent reconnection.
WARNING
Risk of injury from moving parts.
When the power supply or compressed air supply is switched off, moving parts can travel uncontrol-
lably into the lower end position. This may result in crushing of body parts.
• Before switching off the power supply or the compressed air supply: move the vertical or tilted
moving parts to the lower end position and secure them.
1. To prevent uncontrolled movements when the power supply is switched off: move the moving
parts to the lower end position or secure them at that position.
2. Switch off power supply.
Ä Residual voltages may still be present in electrical components after the power supply is
switched off.
Before disconnecting electrical connections: comply with the waiting time specified for the
integrated electrical components è Observe the documentation of the electrical compo-
nents.
3. Switch off compressed air supply.
4. Compressed air can be stored in the pneumatic attachment component: exhaust the attachment
component.
