Malfunction
Jerking travel.
The swing-out time of the pro-
file is too long.
Vibrations on the carriage
Motor does not rotate.
Motor turns in the wrong direc-
tion or vibrates.

Overload
Torsional stresses
Incorrect controller settings
Resonant frequency of profile
and payload is too low.
Operation at the resonance
point of the axis
Motor controller is not yet ena-
bled.
For motor with brake: brake is
active.
Wiring fault
Incorrect controller settings
Remedy
Reduce mass of the moving
load or the travel speed.
Observe limit values.
– Check the mounting surface
for the required evenness.
– Align axes/slides.
– Lubricate axes.
– Change the travel velocity.
Change controller parameters.
Reinforce the axis mounting.
Change the payload geometry.
Change the travel velocity.
Change the acceleration.
Check signal of the motor con-
troller.
Release brake.
Check wiring.
Change controller parameters.
