Part Numbering Convention
The HX7+ ASD is a special-configuration large-horsepower ASD. The HX7+ ASD may be ordered in
several different configurations. Listed below are customer selections that, with the exception of the IP56
enclosure, may be defined in the part number of the system.
•
40° or 50° C Rating.
•
6-, 12-, or 18-Pulse Option.
•
NEMA 1 or NEMA 3R Enclosure (6-, 12-, and 18-Pulse).
•
IP56 Rated ASD (available for the 18-Pulse system only — submit request at time of purchase).
•
With or without a Sine Wave Filter.
The associated part numbering scheme for a given configuration is defined in the section titled
Information on pg.
The NEMA 3R and IP56 versions are designed for outdoor applications. Outdoor systems are painted
white — indoor systems are painted ANSI 61 gray.
The HX7+ ASD has a 1.0 service factor and includes input fuses, an input circuit breaker, a locking
cabinet, and grounding lugs as standard features.
The thermal ratings for the HX7+ ASD are 40° and 50° C maximum. Not all typeforms are available in
both thermal ratings. Specifications for both typeforms are listed in the following sections and are
separated by their 40° and 50° C ratings availability.
