    DO NOT use an ASD with a motor that has a current rating that is greater than the rated current of the ASD. The P9 ASD is designed to operate NEMA B motors. Consult with your TIC Sales Representative before using the ASD for special applications such as with an explosion-proof motor or applications with a piston load.

    DO NOT operate the ASD with the enclosure door open. The ambient operating temperature rating of the P9 ASD is 14° to 104° F (-10° to 40° C). When installing adjacent ASDs horizontally, TIC recommends at least 5 cm of space between adjacent units.

    Setup The Real-Time Clock of the P9 ASD provides a time stamp of the trip history, Time-Based Alternation control timing, and other real-time event control functions. The Real-Time Clock must be set in order to use the real-time monitoring and control functions of the ASD (trip history dates, Time-Based Alternation, etc.).
