Troubleshooting

Below are some problems you may encounter while using the minipool.
If the solutions offered do not solve the problem contact your dealer or the minipool manufacturer for suggestions.
PROBLEM
Cloudy water, not very clear or dust
in suspension
Foam on the surface of the minipool
Slippery bottom and walls, the pres-
ence of algae, greenish colour
Bad odour or mould
Unstable pH value
Irritation of eyes, mucous membranes
and skin
The whirlpool pumps start by them-
selves

POSSIBLE CAUSE
• Water with unbalanced values
(hardness, pH, alkalinity).
• Incorrect or infrequent water treat-
ment.
• Filter cartridges that are excessively
dirty.
• Excessive dirt brought in by users.
• Weather (if installed outdoors).
• Residues from sunscreens, cosmet-
ics, soaps.
• Water with unbalanced values
(hardness, pH, alkalinity).
• Overly soft water (lower hardness
to 7°f).
• Water with unbalanced values
(hardness, pH, alkalinity).
• Incorrect or infrequent water treat-
ment
• Water with unbalanced values
(hardness, pH, alkalinity).
• Incorrect or infrequent water treat-
ment.
• Water changed too infrequently.
• Canvas cover not cleaned well.
A very unstable pH could be caused
by a bad balance of total alkalinity
(Complete Alkalimetric Titre - CAT).
• Water with unbalanced values
(hardness, pH, alkalinity).
• Water with disinfectant treatments
that are too aggressive or too
concentrated.
The minipool has an automatic mixing function that in sequence activates
the various whirlpool pumps to mix the water in the bathtub. This provides
for a more effective filtering action.
