Fig. 18
The cylinders have adjustable switching thresholds for
switching cylinder charging on and off.
If the factory settings have to be changed, this must be
carried out only by people with the required knowl-
edge. Incorrect settings can result in unwanted heat
pump functions. Correctly setting the "Output contrllr
multiplier" and making any necessary adjustments to
the permitted spread between the secondary flow tem-
perature and actual cylinder temperature "Maximum
differential secondary to cylinder" (see "System
parameters") will ensure that the system does not
cycle and that the output will not be reduced too early.
The temperature levels on this page are absolute lim-
its. If they are exceeded, an alarm will be triggered
shortly afterwards which must be acknowledged. If a
value comes within approx. 3 °C of the limit, the set
output will be continuously reduced. This should mean
that the heat pump will not shut down with a fault but
will simply pause or continue at reduced output.

Parameters:
"Restart blocking time"
Period between the compressor switching off and
back on again.
Note
Short blocking times will reduce the service life of
compressors. Periods that are too long will reduce
the total output of the system.
Standard setting for Vitocal 300-G Pro/350-G Pro/
350-G Pro up to 1.1 MW: 15 minutes
"Heat pump start delay"
The start delay of the heat pump after all compres-
sors have been turned off.
"Heat pump start threshold at set output (10 %)"
As soon as the calculated set output rises above the
set value, the heat pump switches on. The standard
setting is 10 %
"Start delay flow switch"
The start delay before the flow switch is heeded.
