System parameters
■
"Response delay flow switch"
The response time of the flow switch.
"Condenser pump run-on time"
■
The period during which the secondary pump contin-
ues to run after heat pump operation, so that the
heat can be transferred.
■
"Maximum return temperature secondary circuit"
Maximum condenser inlet temperature
"Min. return temperature primary circuit"
■
Minimum evaporator outlet temperature during cool-
ing mode
■
"Output contrllr min"
Minimum value of the output controller; see "Notes
on output controller"
"Output contrllr multiplier"
■
Multiplier for output control; see "Notes on output
controller"
■
"Time limit f. partial output"
Period after which the system is switched to the
other compressor in single stage operation
"Minimum limit evaporation temperature"
■
Minimum value of evaporation temperature in refrig-
erant circuit; see "Notes on application limit"
■
"Minimum limit evaporator outlet"
Minimum temperature at evaporator outlet during
heating mode; see "Notes on application limit"
■
"Maximum temp re-cooling via heat source"
The highest temperature that can be returned to the
heat source.
Note
In the case of geothermal probes, a maximum of
30 °C may be fed into the probe.
■
"Maximum limit condensation temperature"
The maximum condensation temperature in the
refrigerant circuit; see "Notes on application limit"
"Alarm time limit for failure due to appl. limits"
■
Time limit for alarm detection in 1/10 hr
Example:
Set value: 5 = 5/10 hr = 0.5 hr = 30 minutes
■
"Alarm number limit for failure due to appl. lim-
its"
Number of alarms that must occur during the pro-
grammed period to trigger an alarm.

Notes on application limit
Note
It is possible to set the parameters "Minimum limit
evaporation temperature", "Minimum limit evapo-
rator outlet" and "Maximum limit condensation
temperature" such that the compressors, depending
on the type of heat pump, will run outside the applica-
tion limits. During configuration (especially with ice
store systems), care must be taken that at evaporation
temperatures of < 0 °C, the parameter "Maximum
limit condensation temperature" is adjusted down-
wards.
Note
The system application limits (see technical guide)
must be observed. The parameters must be configured
in such a way that this will be the case for all operating
situations. If in doubt, consult Viessmann on this mat-
ter.
Notes on the output controller
Formula for calculating the set output
x = "Actual temperature at condenser outlet" minus
"Condenser spread"
or
"Actual temperature at condenser re-entry",
depending on which value is greater
Set output = (Set temperature + 1 °C - x) * Output
controller factor
Calculated set outputs of over 100 % result in 100 %
output demand.
For certain configurations, the minimum output
demand is limited to 5 %. The prevents the output con-
troller from switching the system off unnecessarily.
