Effect
Limited or no heat pump
function. A prolonged power
failure could cause settings to
be lost or altered.
The heat pump remains off
No natural cooling
Charging the coolant buffer
cylinder is impossible.
The heat pump stops.
The heat pump remains off
Heating water buffer cylinder
is not charged.
The heating circuit pump for
heating circuit 1 remains off.
The heating circuit pump for
heating circuit 2 remains off.
Troubleshooting
Cause
The back-up battery is totally
or almost spent.
Problem with the superheating
control.
Electronic expansion valve
faulty or incorrectly adjusted.
The coolant charging circuit
for the coolant buffer cylinder
has reached its frost protec-
tion limit.
Coolant inlet too cold
Too little circulation (flow
rate) through the coolant
system separator
System separator contami-
nated
Primary outlet temperature of
the evaporator has reached its
frost protection limit.
Heat source too cold
Too little circulation (flow
rate) through the evaporator
Evaporator contaminated
Primary outlet temperature of
the evaporator has reached its
frost protection limit and tem-
perature still too low (< 2 °C).
Circulation pump faulty
A shut-off damper is closed
Heat source permanently
too cold
Buffer temperature sensor or
connecting lead faulty
Flow temperature sensor for
heating circuit 1 or connecting
lead faulty
Flow temperature sensor for
heating circuit 2 or connecting
lead faulty
