10.1.6 Operating conditions: Process
The maximum permitted temperature at the process connection (see Figure for measuring point) is
determined by the process connection ordered:
Min. temperature Max. temperature
-40° C [-40 °F] +200° C [392 °F]
For FMP41C with Endress+Hauser adapter 43 mm: 0 °C ... 150 °C (32 °F...302 °F).
Lateral load-bearing capacity of the rod probe: 30 Nm
All models: Vacuum up to -1...40 bar (585,9psi) (over the entire temperature range).
FMP41C with
• Endress+Hauser universal adapter: max. 6 bar (87 psi).
• Tri-Clamp see ordering Information → ä 8.
The specified range can be reduced by the selection of process connection (see from → ä 8).
The pressure rating (PN) specified on the flanges refers to a reference temperatur of 20°C, and to
100°F for ASME flanges. Pay attention to pressure-temperature dependencies.
Please refer to the following standards for the pressure values permitted for higher temperatures:
• EN 1092-1 : 2001 Tab.18
With regard to their stability-temperature property, the materials 1.4435 and 1.4404 are grouped
together under 13E0 in EN1092-1 Tab.18. The chemical composition of the two materials can
be identical.

Endress+Hauser supplies DIN/EN flanges made of stainless steel AISI 316L with the material
number 1.4435 or 1.4404. With regard to their stability-temperature property, the materials
1.4435 and 1.4404 are grouped together unter 13E0 in EN1092-1 Tab.18.
The chemical composition of the two materials can be identical.
