2. Align the rail mounting holes with the mounting holes in the equipment rack as displayed
previously.
1. Position the rail brackets in alignment with the 1U mark on the Rack. Note: you can
install any equipment adjacent to the rail kit as long as you align the rail kit with the "U"
mark.

2. Attach the front side of the rail to the rack's front vertical side rail with
2 screws and the rear side of the rail to the rack's rear vertical side rail
with 2 screws.
The following figure shows the left rail completely assembled and what it looks like when
it is attached to the rack.
