Reducing the MPEG noise

MPEG compression causes block noise appears like small blocks in the image, and the image
compression algorithms result in mosquito noise around the sharp edges in the image. This function
is used to reduce the MPEG noise.
1. Select Menu > Image Settings > Video Options > MPEG Noise Reduction.
2. Select appropriate level for MPEG noise reduction.
3. To confirm the selection, press ENTER.

Setting the input levels

If the image is displayed by an analog signal, such as VGA signal, the image may have odd color on
the screen. These functions are used to adjust gain and offset error and correct the color.

Adjusting the color gain

Set the color gain to correct the color intensity of the image. This function is used when the image
is displayed by VGA or component and the color is incorrect.
1. Select Menu > Image Settings > Input Levels.
2. Select appropriate color gain:
Red Gain
Green Gain
Blue Gain
3. Adjust the slider by arrow keys or press ENTER to input the value.
4. After inputting the value, press ENTER to apply.

Adjusting the color offset

Set the color gain to correct the degree of color difference of the image. This function is used when
the image is displayed by VGA signal and the color is incorrect.
1. Select Menu > Image Settings > Input Levels.
2. Select appropriate color offset:
Red Offset
Green Offset
Blue Offset
3. Adjust the slider by arrow keys or press ENTER to input the value.
4. After inputting the value, press ENTER to apply.
