Setting Up the Printer
To avoid paper jams, make sure that the trailing edge
length guide, and make sure that the edges at (d) are straight and not
slanted.
Wait for all of the paper in the cassette to be used up before loading more paper.
Never mix different types of paper or other print media in the same stack.
Be sure to read all the information in the User's Guide and in the instructions
provided with the paper or other print media about handling different types of print
media.

Move the width guide until it rests lightly against the side of the stack.
To ensure smooth paper feed from the cassette, make sure that the width guide is
snug and not too tight against the side of the stack. If the width guide is too tight, or
if there is a gap between the paper and the guide, this may cause paper to feed
incorrectly.

Install the cassette cover.
Align the four pegs on bottom of the cassette cover with the holes in the
cassette below and set the cover on the cassette.
