With density measurement, the radiation difference with differing
density is very low. Especially with small tube diameters, the change
is negligible.
Therefore it is important to shield from interfering X-ray radiation. To
protect the instrument against X-ray radiation, it can be be equipped
with an optional lead ring. A later retrofitting of the lead ring is not
possible.
