Using Lifting Slings - Scaleo medical POWEO 150 User Manual

SCALEO Medical patient lifters use the PRAXIS Healthcare slings which are perfectly adapted for the 4 points
suspension and very easy to use.
It is strongly recommended to use appropriate type of sling and accessories depending on patient's pathology,
height and weight.
It is also important to choose the appropriate slings considering the type of transfer and the environment of the
room.
With or without head support, the PRAXIS Healthcare slings are in a U shape.
Slings should never be bleached.
The washing conditions and temperatures are showed on the label.
Torn, cut, frayed or broken slings can fail, resulting in serious injury to the patient and/or to the user.
Only use slings in good condition.

USING LIFTING SLINGS

Fold the sling as indicated above before use.
The grey side should be facing away from the user when putting the
sling in place. The sling should be held with one hand, leaving the
other free to move and support the user.
Sling with head support
