safe if data has been removed.
5.2.2
Updating your HUD
To perform a software update, first go
to www.scubapro.com and click on the
Resources tab. On the drop-down menu
select Software & Firmware. From there
scroll down to "Galileo HUD Firmware
Update" and click on the link to download
the firmware package.
Next, connect your HUD via USB to your
personal computer and copy the file
"HUDupgrade.bin," and the folder "LANG"
directly to your HUD.
Disconnect the HUD from your PC/MAC
with the functionality of Safe Remove and
Eject Media.
Shut off and then restart the HUD with a
press-and-release of the push-wheel.
For about 30 seconds the display will
remain black while the update is being
performed in the background.
At this point the HUD will undergo a
quick series of internal tests. After that,
the start screen will appear, indicating
that the software has been updated. For
step-by-step instructions on the update
procedure refer to the "HUD Software
update procedure guide" available at www.
scubapro.com.
