Repeat this process with each highlighted
letter until you finalize the compass
bearing's new name, then press-and-hold
the push-wheel to save. This action also
moves you to the depth setting.
Being able to select a depth in concert with
the compass bearing is a handy function
that can aid, for example, in finding a
sunken wreck. Select the depth you want
to store by rotating the push-wheel, then
save your selection with a press-and-
release. This will also return you to the
Navigation menu.

GPS

Once you reach the surface you are able to
use the HUD's GPS function.
Similar to storing compass bearings,
you have the ability to add up to 32 GPS
waypoints.

To add waypoints to the Navigation menu
see chapter: Adding GPS waypoints
REMINDER: The HUD's GPS uses
physical properties (longitude and
latitude) on the surface for navigation,
and so is not functional at depth.
Therefore, always use the HUD's
compass for navigating while diving,
and switch to GPS navigation only
after returning to the surface.

Settings

From the Main menu, by scrolling down to
Settings and pressing-and-releasing the
push-wheel you enter the general Settings
menu.

The Settings menu offers the following
categories, pages and settings. By rotating
the push-wheel you can toggle to each
selection, and then enter with a press-and-
release of the push-wheel. Let's look at
them one at a time.
