Click Finish to end the
card configuration.
After configuring the card:
Lower the left DIP SWITCH circuit breaker to working mode.

Ping the card's configured IP address to check it.

Checking GMaC Communication

To check that the GMaC is communicating properly:
In the Start menu, click Run.

In the Open field, type: command.
2.
In the Command window, type: ping 192.168.0.182.

Three data packages are sent to the GMaC.
If the three Request time out messages are returned:

Check the connection to the GMaC
Verify that the computer's IP address is in the same IP Zone as the
GMaC's.
If there is a reply (i.e. 'Reply from 192.168.0.182: bytes =32 time<10ms

TTL=255'), the configuration is successful.
Note: We highly recommend that you record all IP configuration settings and store
them in a readily accessible place.
In the event that configuration settings are lost, you must reconfigure the GMaC step-
by-step, using an RS232 communication cable, using the Network Card
Communication Wizard, as explained above.
