4. CONTROL PANEL & INDICATORS
4.1 LCD Control Panel
The control panel serves as an interface between the UPS and the user. It
displays real-time information and allows the user to monitor and control the
functions of the UPS.
The control panel has six round function buttons for controlling the unit and 12
square information buttons for monitoring the UPS status. Text information is
displayed on the LCD and may be emphasized with audible alerts to notify the
user of extraordinary circumstances. In addition, the LED indicators provide
information at a glance regarding the UPS status or operation.
4.2 Function Buttons
The function buttons are positioned to the left and right sides of the Control
Panel.
UPS ON
Turns the UPS ON and sequentially displays the start-up diagnostic results.
