About changing custom picture related settings using the RC-V100 Remote Controller
- When an RC-V100 Remote Controller is connected to the camera, you can press the remote controller's
CUSTOM PICT. button to open the custom picture settings menu.
- If a protected custom picture file is selected on the camera, custom picture related settings cannot be
changed using the remote controller.
- Adjusting custom picture related settings using the remote controller will change the settings registered
under the currently selected custom picture file. If you want to keep an important custom picture file, copy it
in advance to a card or select in advance a custom picture file you do not mind changing.

Editing a Custom Picture File's Settings

You can adjust the image characteristics of the custom picture file selected. You can also rename, protect or
reset custom picture files. Be sure to remove the protection before editing a custom picture file.
Adjusting the Image Parameters
1 Select i.
2 Select the image parameter you want to adjust.
• Refer to Available Custom Picture Settings (A 103) for details on the various settings.
3 Adjust the value as necessary.
Renaming Custom Picture Files
1 Select [Rename].
i > [Rename]
2 Enter the desired file name (8 alphanumeric characters), then select [OK].
• For more details on how to enter characters, see Using the virtual keyboard screen (A 128).
Protecting Custom Picture Files
1 Select [Protect].
i > [Protect]
2 Select either [Protect] or [Unprotect].
• i will appear next to the name of a protected file.
Resetting Custom Picture Files
1 Select [Reset].
i > [Reset]
2 Select one of the reset settings, then select [OK].

Displaying the Current Custom Picture File Settings

1 Select I.
• Various settings are displayed in 4 pages.
2 Press
/
to see the previous/next page.
3 Select L.
