• neveR leave a vehicle seat back with a
folding mechanism unlocked. in the event of
a sudden stop, an unlocked vehicle seat back
could prevent this child restraint from protecting
your child.
• neveR use this child restraint with any
motorized, or door mounted vehicle seat belts.
your child restraint would not be properly
restrained in the event of a crash.
• neveR use this child restraint on boats, low
speed vehicles (lsv), all-terrain vehicles (atv),
golf carts, or any other non-certified application.
• BefoRe each use, alWays check that the child
restraint is tightly secured in the vehicle seat
and does not move more than 1 inch (2.5 cm) in
any direction when checked at the belt path.
• alWaYs check buckles and other parts for hot
surfaces before placing your child in the child
restraint. a hot surface could burn your child!
cover an unoccupied child restraint with a
blanket when leaving it in a vehicle exposed to
sunlight.
