The leak test is split into two separate sections:
Sample Path – Instrument Plumbing
Case – Battery Compartment
In order to perform a case leak check the instrument must first pass the
sample path leak check. See the Maintenance section for directions to
perform the leak tests.
The most common sources of a leaking sample path, in order of most likely
to cause leak:
Grit Pot - not seated, needs grease, torn or punctured
Mass Transducer not
installed.
Filter not installed
Mass Transducer damaged
Mass Transducer not
installed
Defective Sensor
Defective Sensor
Heater Defective
Pump
Defective Component
Charger Off
Battery Low
Charger Defective
Battery Defective
Install Mass Transducer
