Faults of any kind must be fixed immediately to prevent major damage to
the VOGT compressed air device.
If a fault occurs, disconnect the VOGT compressed air device from the
compressed air supply straight away. Check once again that the device is
depressurized before troubleshooting the fault.
How to fix
Push the piston through the tool holder using a suit-
„
able punch.
Pour a little VOGT Special Oil (Z 500) into the connect-
„
ing hose and the tool holder.
Briefly operate the device without a tool.
„
Disconnect the compressed air infeed again.
„
Pull the infeed hose off again.
„
Repeat the entire process a few times.
„
Pour a little (1 to 2 cm³) VOGT cleaner (861 015) into
„
the connecting hose.
Briefly operate the device without a tool.
„
Catch the oil/water/detergent mixture that escapes in
„
a suitable container.
Disconnect the compressed air infeed again.
„
Pull the infeed hose off again.
„
Repeat the entire process two or three times.
„
Pour a little VOGT Special Oil (Z 500) into the connect-
„
ing hose.
Operate the compressed air device.
„
Dispose of the oil/water mixture in accordance with
„
the regulations.
