If the ground is very dry, water the area to be injected the day before to
make sure that the injection tube will penetrate the soil.
1. Place the injection tube where you want to inject.
2. Use your hand to operate the trigger lever. It must never be locked in
place using any auxiliary equipment.
3. The rammer on the VOGT TurboSpade drives the injection tube into
the material to be loosened (e.g. the soil).
4. Release the trigger lever as soon as the injection tube has reached the
desired depth.
5. Open the stop cock on the control valve.
6. Compressed air will flow into the material to be loosened. These steps
can be repeated at different depths. In cohesive soils, the material
must be loosened in stages (every 20 to 30 cm) in order to reach the
desired injection depth.
7. Close the stop cock on the control valve.
8. Pull the VOGT Soil Aerator out again. If the injection tube gets stuck, it
can be freed with a few blows from the rammer. If this does not work,
use the shaft extractor for Injection- or Aeration tube (I91 006).

flow into the material to be loosened while the control lever is being
