YouTube manual: precision in-line oiler
There must be an appropriate concentration of oil in the compressed air in
order to guarantee low wear when using the VOGT compressed air devic-
es.
After no more than four hours of operating the device, check whether the
tool holder is covered with a film of oil. If not, drop a few drops of VOGT
Special Oil Z 500 into the connecting hose. We would always recommend
operating the device together with the VOGT precision in-line oiler Z 300.
If you are already using an in-line oiler, check its oil level and settings. It
makes sense to oil the hexagonal part of the chisel holder in the event of
sizable pressing forces.
Too much oil will impair the strength of the blows. Drops will form on the
trigger lever or the tool holder. If this happens, reduce the quantity of oil at
the oiler and clean the compressed air device if necessary.
Not enough oil will cause damage to the compressed air device and the
tool. Check the oil infeed and top up the oil or readjust the oiler as re-
quired.
Proceed as follows:
Risk of components being forcefully ejected or
compressed air escaping uncontrollably
Danger of hand injuries.
¾ Disconnect the compressed air hose from the in-
line oiler before opening the sealing plug.
1. Lay the in-line oiler down with the sealing plug pointing upward.
2. Carefully open the sealing plug (A) so that any residual pressure can
be released.
3. Adjust the oil infeed quantity using the adjustment screw (B) under-
neath. The following applies:
Turn clockwise to reduce the quantity of oil.
Turn anti-clockwise to increase the quantity of oil.
Proceed as follows:
1. Lay the in-line oiler down with the sealing plug (A) pointing upward.
2. Carefully open the sealing plug (A) so that any residual pressure can
be released.
3. Pour oil past the adjustment screw into the in-line oiler until the alumi-
num tube inside it is covered.
