The VOGT Air Injector combines a VOGT TurboSpade with an injection
tube. It is used to aerate and loosen soil, for instance.
The VOGT TurboSpade uses its rammer to drive the injection tube down
to the desired depth. A rapid blast of air is blown into the material to be
loosened (e.g. the soil) through a compressed air infeed that has been
dimensioned accordingly and an adapted valve system. This causes the
material to be broken up or aerated, making it easy to transport off site or
processed by other means.
1. Trigger lever
The trigger lever on the VOGT Soil Aerator is used to insert the injection
tube into the material to be loosened (e.g. the soil). The rammer is sup-
plied with compressed air while the trigger lever is pressed down.
2. Control lever
The control lever is used to push the compressed air into the material to
be loosened (e.g. the soil):
Control lever pulled: The valve is open.
Control lever in neutral: The valve is closed.
3. Stop cock
The flow volume and thus the intensity of the aeration can be adjusted by
partially opening the stop cock.
