Note: One top-up of oil should be used up within two to three days of
work. If the recommended consumption differs significantly, turn the ad-
justment screw 1/8 of a turn in the corresponding direction and continue
to monitor the oil consumption.
Follow these steps to test the adjusted quantity of oil:
1. Operate the compressed air device for around ten minutes at a time.
2. Disconnect the compressed air device from the compressed air sup-
ply.
3. Remove the tool that you were using and look closely at the tool hold-
er and tool:
If the end of the tool that is inserted (hexagon) is coated lightly with
−
oil or black after use, the oiler is set correctly.
If the end of the tool that is inserted is metallic and shiny, the oil
−
quantity is set too low.
If the oil is leaking from the valve on the handle or along the chisel,
−
the oil quantity is set too high.
4. If necessary, readjust the quantity of oil on the in-line oiler.
Please use VOGT Special Oil (Z 500) or a resin-free pneumatic oil when
working in standard conditions.
On request, VOGT can supply the following oils for non-standard condi-
tions of use:

tures.
Low-temperature oil (835 010) for particularly low ambient tempera-
tures.
Bio-oil (834 010) for working in food-processing plants or similar envi-
ronments.
