Malfunction

Cause
Light inlet window soiled.
Light entrance lens is
soiled.
Shutter blocked.
Low transmission.
Light inlet window soiled.
Insufficient intensity.
Intensities too high.
Remedy
Clean light inlet window if
required, see page 37.
Please contact your Service
Center.
Check shutter function, call the
Service Center if required
Use argon to rinse the optics
(function "Rinse" or the
corresponding function key)
Clean light inlet window if
required, see page 37.
1. Check argon.
2. Check sample.
3. Clean spark stand adjust
electrode.
4. Clean light inlet window.
5. ICALize the instrument again
and, if necessary, contact the
Service Center.
