ONT Installation

CAUTION
Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) can damage electronic components. When
handling modules, wear an antistatic discharge wrist strap to prevent
damage to electronic components. Place modules in antistatic packing
material when transporting or storing. When working on modules, always
place them on an approved antistatic mat that is electrically grounded.
After unpacking the ONT, inspect it for damage. Before beginning the installation of the ONT,
the technician should accomplish the following to verify component integrity.
1. Unpack both the ONT and power supply (packed separately) to ensure the units are vis-
