Instructions for Installing the MDU ONT
A typical exterior ONT installation with UPS is shown in
Installations may vary from this diagram depending on the manner in which the Customer
Provided Equipment (CPE) wiring is installed, the location of the AC outlet used to power the
ONT local power supply, whether or not a communications distribution panel was provided,
and the proximity of the external ends of the CPE wiring to the subscriber electrical service
point.
