Battery LED Off or Flashing Green

If the BAT LED is off or flashing Green, a battery backup failure is indicated. This can be
caused by the following conditions:
■ Missing Battery
■ Defective Battery
■ Battery not charging through UPS
■ Defective LPS wiring

FAIL LED Red

The FAIL LED is solid Red for a short period of time after reset. If it remains solid red,
perform the troubleshooting below. Flashing Red is normal during ranging and turn-up.

NET LED Off

The NET LED off indicates no laser detected. This can be caused by one of the following
conditions:
■ Failure at the OLT
■ Failure between the OLT and the ONT before the drop wire optical connector
■ Drop wire optical connector
■ Malfunction of LED at ONT

MGT LED Off

A MGT LED that is Off indicates the management channel is not working and the OLT
Administrator must be contacted to address the issue. If it determined that the OLT is
functioning correctly, replace the ONT.

POTS Troubleshooting

When the POTS LED is red, the port is in a fault condition. To correct the problem, do the
following:
■ Contact the OLT administrator and ensure the port is provisioned and working. If the port
