DIP switch
The DIP switch allows to invert the input signal for each channel of the ELX1054 separately. For the
inversion of the signal, the DIP switch must be set to the ON position.

Meaning
Error detection: open- circuit on channel (I < 200 µA typ.)
Usual operation: NAMUR sensor on channel in non-conductive state

Error detection: short-circuit on channel (I > 6.3 mA typ.)
Usual operation: NAMUR sensor on channel in conducting state
("1"; according to IEC 60947-5-6)
Meaning
