Replacing The Pull-Type Solenoid - Cornelius UFB1 Installation And Service Manual

Dispensing valve UFB1 OptiFill
1. Remove the base plate (Fig. 36/4) of the dispensing valve by pushing the two side tabs (Fig.
36/1) apart and carefully pulling the base plate (Fig. 36/4) forwards and downwards from the
valve body (Fig. 36/3).
2. Remove the microswitch (Fig. 36/2) from the dispensing valve.
3. Position the new microswitch (Fig. 36/2) on the dispensing valve.
4. Attach the microswitch (Fig. 36/2) by pressing the microswitch onto the mount.
5. Fasten the base plate (Fig. 36/4) of the dispensing valve by inserting the base plate (Fig. 36/
4) with the rear tabs into the valve body (Fig. 36/3) and carefully pushing the base plate (Fig.
36/4) upwards until the side tabs (Fig. 36/1) engage.
Finishing tasks
1. Only on UFB1 OptiFill: Mount the OptiFill module, see chapter 6.4.
2. Mount the dispensing valve, see chapter 4.1.

Replacing the pull-type solenoid

Prerequisites
The dispensing valve has been removed.
Spare parts
Pull-type solenoid
1. Disconnect the plug (Fig. 37/1) and pull the plug (Fig. 37/1) out of the mount.
2. Disconnect the electrical cables (Fig. 37/2) on the pull-type solenoid (Fig. 37/3).
3. Remove the cover (Fig. 38/1) of the pull-type solenoid (Fig. 38/3).
4. Remove the pull-type solenoid (Fig. 38/3) from the valve head (Fig. 38/2).
5. Position the new pull-type solenoid (Fig. 39/3) on the valve head (Fig. 39/2).
6. Attach the pull-type solenoid (Fig. 39/3) by pushing the pull-type solenoid (Fig. 39/3) into the
valve head (Fig. 39/2).
The pull-type solenoid must audibly engage.
7. Attach the cover (Fig. 39/1) of the pull-type solenoid (Fig. 39/3).
Finishing tasks
1. Mount the dispensing valve, see chapter 4.1.
