Operating the Avant 9700
NOTE: The Nurse Call feature overrides silenced alarms.
The Nurse Call Circuit Switch, located near the option switch, allows users to select NO
(Normally Open—the left position) or NC (Normally Closed—the right position). The hospital's
nurse call system configuration will determine whether the Nurse Call Circuit Switch on the
device must be placed in the Normally Open (NO) or Normally Closed (NC).
