7.2 For UPS Module

Problem
No output.
Output LED is off.
UPS does not transfer to
battery mode during a
power failure or backup
time
is
shorter
than
expected.
Alarm LED is lit.
Batteries will NOT charge.
LCD text is not readable.
Password access is NOT
available.
Possible Cause
AC input and output circuit breakers
are off.
No line power input.
Red LED is lit solid on front panel
indicating fault.
Line power or battery power is not
available.
UPS fault.
Battery is not connected.
Battery circuit breaker is off.
Battery is not fully charged.
Dead battery.
UPS fault.
Abnormal conditions are detected.
Battery circuit is open.
Wrong or bad temperature probe
connected.
UPS fault.
Password is LOST or forgotten.
Turn on input and output circuit breakers.
Turn on AC input breaker.
Read fault event under Event Log in LCD
display. Manually restart UPS. Contact
the factory if fault persists.
Apply qualified input power and make
sure if battery breaker is closed.
Return to repair center.
Connect batteries (48VDC nominal).
Turn on battery breaker
Recharge the battery and then test
discharge time.
Replace with new batteries.
Return to repair center.
Solve the problem according to alarm
information in Figure 21.
1. Check if battery cable is connected
firmly
connection is correct. Any connection
error, loose or open connection will
cause circuit open.
2. Check if proper battery voltage is
detected on battery connector of
UPS.
3. Check if battery breaker is closed.
4. If battery is bad, replace it.
Only use factory-supplied temperature
probe reading approximately 15,000
OHMS @ 25°C (77°F)
Return to repair center.
Contact repair center for resetting the
new password.
