6.1 General Notes on Start-Up
CAUTION
Risk of crushing by moving parts!
There is a risk of minor injury from crushing between the movable parts of the stage or the
load and a fixed part or obstacle.
 Use protective structures to keep limbs away from areas in which they could be seized by
moving parts.
 Observe the safety distances in accordance with DIN EN ISO 13857 when installing
protective structures.
NOTICE
Damage due to collisions!
Collisions can damage the stage, the load to be moved, and the surroundings.
 Make sure that no collisions are possible between the stage, the load to be moved, and the
surroundings in the motion range of the stage.
 Do not place any objects in areas where they can be caught by moving parts.
 Stop the motion immediately if a controller malfunction occurs.
 If possible, adapt the travel range limits of your mechanical system in the software that
you use for commanding the motion.
