Principle of operation
ADVICE
The automatic sunlight protection mode allows you, together with
the Fernotron radio-controlled solar light sensor (art. no. 2440), to
control your roller shutter/Venetian blinds or other electric devices
(such as lights) according to the brightness of the light. The light
sensor is attached to the inside of the window pane with suction
pads.
The automatic sunlight protection mode regulates the automatic
raising and lowering process once a set limiting value has been
exceeded.

The automatic sunlight protection mode can only be used if
the sun position has been set for the receiver (see page 50).
To ensure that the automatic sunlight protection mode does,
in fact, work, the receiver concerned must have activated
automatic operation (e.g. group 1, receiver 1 = AUTO).
If necessary, you can activate or deactivate the automatic
sunlight protection mode for each individual window with
the aid of the Programming Centre.
