You will need:
(1) A mercury blood pressure monitor that is accurately adjusted (including a rubber bulb)*.
(2) T-tube
(3) 2 air tubes
(4) Something to wrap a cuff around such as a sturdy tube (strong material that is not
damaged or deformed by inflation)
* Even a mercury blood pressure monitor might cause an error in measurement due to a lack of mercury in the
mercury tank, dirt on the glass tube or clogging of the glass tube cap.
Connect the mercury blood pressure

monitor, the rubber bulb, the main unit
and the T-tube as shown in [Fig. 1],
to the right.
Press the F5 key [SETUP] to enter the

cursor to [METHOD] under
[ ]
[BP MEASUREMENT] in the "SETTING
