(7) Unit connector
This connector is used to connect the front unit and back unit.
(8) RJ-45 connector (Ethernet port)
Connect a LAN cable and this port allows Ethernet communication with connected devices that are equipped with an
Ethernet interface.

(9) Buzzer
Notifies the user of the result of reading and verifying a UID. For details, refer to Chapter 5 "1 KW2D Series Smart
RFID Reader Statuses and Operations" on page 5-1.
(10) Power supply terminals
These terminals are used to supply DC power (24V DC) to the KW2D Series Smart RFID Reader.
For details on the KW2D Series Smart RFID Reader installation, refer to Chapter 3 "Installation and Wiring" on
page 3-1.
