11. Rotate the VALUE knob until = = = 2 is displayed on the front panel of the DPC-2.
12. Repeat Steps #9 and #10 above. This time the DRIVE 2 LED will illuminate.
13. Depress the RUN/STOP button on the DPC-2 Control Unit until the LED above the
button is illuminated. The glue system is now ready for operation.
A Single EVENT Glue Pattern

The following example places a series of dots on a substrate using a single glue
applicator. It assumes that COMPENSATION, SERVO MODE and CONSTANTS have
already been properly programmed. Refer to Chapter 3 of this manual for additional
details concerning each to the programming parameters.
1. Turn ON the DPC-2 Control Unit. Depress the SYSTEM button until the LED to the
left of TRIG MODE is illuminated. Rotate the VALUE knob until SInG is displayed.
2. Depress the SYSTEM button until the LED to the left of LOCKOUT is illuminated.
Select the value 12.00 by depressing the DIGIT button and rotating the VALUE knob.
3. Depress the SYSTEM button until the LED to the left of PRE-DELAY is illuminated.
Select the value 02.00 by depressing the DIGIT button and rotating the VALUE knob.
4. Depress the SYSTEM button until the LED to the left of MEMORY is illuminated.
Rotate the VALUE knob until the desired Program (Pr-1, -2, -3, -4) is displayed.
5. Depress the CHANNEL 1 button. The LED above this button will illuminate and the
LED to the left of EVENT will also illuminate. Rotate the VALUE knob until 1 is
displayed. This indicates the programming of EVENT 1 of the selected Program.
6. Depress the CHANNEL 1 button until the LED to the left of DELAY is illuminated.
Select the value 06.00 by depressing the DIGIT button and rotating the VALUE knob.
