CHANGING SERVO MODE
The SERVO MODE setting is modified as follows:
1. Power down the DPC-2 with the main switch on the front panel.
2. Press and hold the SYSTEM button while powering ON the DPC-2 Control Unit.
3. Depress the SYSTEM button until the yellow LED to the left of SERVO MODE is
illuminated. The display will be cycling the message SEt-UP PrES tYPE.
4. Turn the VALUE knob until the desired SERVO output setting is displayed.
Depressing the SYSTEM button will select the displayed output setting.
DISABLE SERVO MODE
The SERVO output may be disabled as follows:
1. Depress the SYSTEM button until the yellow LED to the left of SERVO MODE is
illuminated.
2. Rotate the VALUE knob counter-clockwise until OFF is displayed.
3. Rotating the VALUE knob clockwise enables SERVO output.

Constants

The CONSTANTS parameters allow the operator to control the SERVO output
characteristics. Three parameters are set within CONSTANTS:
Threshold – The pressure starting point (expressed as a percentage) for the slowest
machine speed at which glue is applied.
Slope – The rate that glue pressure changes with respect to machine speed.
Low Speed Turn-On/Cut-Off (LSTO)– The machine speed at which the glue
applicators are allowed to activate or are deactivated.
Below is shown a graphical representation of the relationship between these three
parameters.
