HDD S.M.A.R.T
The S.M.A.R.T. (Self-Monitoring, Analysis, and
Reporting Technology) system is a diagnostics

technology that monitors and predicts device
performance. S.M.A.R.T. software resides on both
the disk drive and the host computer. The disk drive
software monitors the internal performance of the
motors, media, heads, and electronics of the drive.
The host software monitors the overall reliability
status of the drive. If a device failure is predicted,
the host software, through the Client WORKS
S.M.A.R.T applet, warns the user of the impending
condition and advises appropriate action to protect
the data.

When enabled this item copies the VGA BIOS into
