VB8001 User’s Manual The VIA VB8001 mainboard is packaged with a standard VIA Nano 1.6 GHz NanoBGA2 processor. This processor requires a heatsink with fan to provide sufficient cooling. CPU Fan and System Fan: CPUFAN and SYSFAN The CPU_FAN (CPU fan) and SYS_FAN (system fan) run on +12V and maintain system cooling.

When a supervisor password is used, the BIOS Setup program can be accessed and the BIOS settings can be changed. When a user password is used, the BIOS Setup program can be accessed but the BIOS settings cannot be changed.
