Check the display of control unit for possible fault messages

Manual function test on the control unit, close flap (using flap test hand symbol). Make sure
of inflow (clear water) ➞ wait to see if the pump starts working
A rising level can be seen on the display. Inlet until switch-on point 1 or switch-on point 2 has been reached, then
pump operation starts.

Open the cover and check the cover seal for damage

Visual inspection of the upper section

Disconnect the system from the mains and secure it against being switched on again

Remove dirt and deposits

Check sealing gaskets and sealing surfaces for perfect condition; if necessary replace the
sealing gaskets

Check the mechanisms of the moving sealing parts, if necessary re-grease

Carry out a function test to establish the airtightness of the operating valve (motor)

Test and clean the electric probe

Remove the screws, pull the probe out of the cover

Immerse the probe in water

The flap must close, the optical and acoustic warning device must respond

Push the probe with sealing gasket into the cover, screw in place
